About the Weathercam

Minutes of 27th June 2007 Transistion Horfield meeting Bishopston Society is our current featured local website.

We offer a service to assist those whose conflict relates to facing the legacy of unsustainable energy.

Where we are able to provide this service, we do so for free.

Conflict is inevitable as we live using unsustainable forms of energy. Conflict also holds great potential to find more satisfying ways of working together.

Whilst we disagree about the priorities and strategies that will best address the dilemma of how to live sustainably, someone is going to do something that presents a problem for someone else.

We facilitate 'transition circles' (based on a type of Restorative Circle which is a form of restorative justice).

In the 'Transition Circle' we work towards an agreed action plan, which arises out of

1) understanding each other

2) empowerment/ self responsibility.

A follow-up meeting reviews the progress on the action plan and the needs that have been met.

To prepare for a transition circle why not try this website, then contact the group of transition circle facilitators via the 'mediation support contact page'.

We offer this service both by telephone conference and in person in parts of West/South West UK.
